Workshop on localizing the SDG’s in Córdoba (Argentina)

The second training module on localizing the SDG’s was launched in the framework of Mercociudades summit on November 28. The workshop, coordinated by UCLG and the Mercociudades network, was the first carried out in Latin America, and was supported by Barcelona Provincial Council.

The workshop opened the activities of the XXII Mercociudades Summit, which was held in Córdoba (Argentina) under the theme "Promoting governance and innovation for the development of regional public policies". It was attended by representatives of networks of local governments and cities of Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Ecuador, Mexico and Uruguay. The workshop closed with the participants' commitment to replicate the training in their territories, and engage their local governments with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and their localization.
