4th edition of the Guanghzou International Award for Urban Innovation

From the 5th until the 9th December, in the city of Guanghzou, China, the delivery of the Guanghzou International Award for Urban Innovation will take place. The objective of the latter is that of recognizing the initiatives that innovate with the aim of improving the social, economic and environmental sustainability in cities and regions, thus promoting the prosperity and the quality of life of their citizens.

The prize is cosponsored by the World Association of the Great Metropolises (Metropolis), United Cities and Local Governments (UCLG) and the city of Guangzhou, it is presented twice a year and it is open to all cities and local governments that have successful initiatives in the urban innovation framework.
