Call for targeted city actions in the Mediterranean region

The project "Migrations between cities of the Mediterranean" (MC2CM), led by the International Center for the Development of Migration Policies (ICMPD), United Cities and Local Governments (UCLG) and UN-Habitat, has launched a call for the financing of actions that contribute to foster governance systems for urban migration, based on rights and to promote social cohesion in the Mediterranean region.
The call is aimed at local or regional governments and their associations or networks of the European Union, as well as international organizations, NGOs, and other non-profit associations, as long as they are supported by a local or regional authority in the territory where they are performing the action. The deadline to submit ends on March 27, 2019 and the actions must be implemented in one of the target countries of the MC2CM project: Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Morocco, Lebanon, Libya and Tunisia.
The MC2CM project, launched in 2015, aims to improve the integration and inclusion of immigrants from southern Mediterranean cities through access to Human Rights, and highlights the role of cities in increasing the benefits of migration at the local and national level.
