Campaing: European Local Solidarity Days 2022
More than 30 municipalities in Barcelona Province hosted EDLS activities
For 15 days, the Barcelona Provincial Council (DIBA) has organised over 40 activities within the 7th Edition of the European Solidarity Days, coordinated by PLATFORMA.
During the last two weeks of November, more than 30 municipalities have hosted activities such as conferences, theatre plays, children’s games, exhibitions, and wall painting all over the province of Barcelona.
Local libraries have also been involved, once again, in preparing workshops and exhibitions on climate justice and education for peace.
Civil society organisations have, on the other hand, engaged in most of the activities, showing citizen’s commitment to solidarity in difficult times.
The campaign has been a success and has allowed to bring decentralised cooperation and solidarity to public discussion and awareness.
All over Europe, more than 75 EDLS activities have been organised this year over 2 weeks.
