Conference “The localization of the Sustainable Development Goals: what do the local entities have to know?” in Barcelona, 12 December 2018
Next Wednesday 12 December the conference “The localization of the Sustainable Development Goals: what do the local entities have to know?” will take place at the Palau Robert of Barcelona.
The conference, organized by the International Relations Direction of the Barcelona Provincial Council, is framed within the compromise of the Provincial Council to achieve the 2030 Agenda and its strategy for the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) in the territory.
In this context, the conference will address the 2030 Agenda emphasizing on the role that the municipalities play in the achievement of the SDG, different strategies of implementation of the SDG that are being carried out from the spheres of the local, national and global level will be make known, and boosting initiatives of the 2030 Agenda will be shared. All in all, the conference is also aiming at contributing to the promotion of new alliances to continue to advance in the implementation of local public policies aligned with the SDG.
The conference will have the participation of experts, representatives of local and supralocal entities and of national and international networks that have a relevant trajectory in this field and who can offer concrete and inspiring examples for the achievement of the 2030 Agenda.
