Retreat and campus of UCLG in Barcelona

From the 11th to the 15th of February is taking place in Barcelona the fifth edition of the annual retreat of United Cities and Local Governments (UCLG). The annual meeting brings together the UCLG presidency, the secretariats, the commissions and sections, as well as representatives of the political councils and other partners, who are having the opportunity to meet and discuss their priorities and to define and coordinate the work plans for this year.

During these days, work sessions are held with the accent on the creation and programming of activities around the key issues of the organization and the preparation of the UCLG World Congress, which will take place next November.

Representatives of local and regional governments around the world, members of the global organization, participate in various spaces and political debates in this framework, such as the Barcelona Provincial Council and the Municipality of Montevideo, institutions that lead this Observatory.
